A one bedroom semi-detached cottage set over around 30 acres of private land with stunning views across to Ben Lomond. The Loch Lomond But ‘n Ben has private access, a decking area with one King-size bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen/living area is well equipped with all essentials including dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove.

But ‘n Ben is close to the southern shores of Loch Lomond in the beautiful village of Gartocharn. Here are some of the other attractions that are close by.
The RSPB has recently upgraded the Visitor Centre at its Loch Lomond reserve, look out for Osprey and Geese. Take a walk too along Aber Shore. We are a short distance from the reserve.
There are many excellent whisky distillery visitor centres in Scotland. One of the best is Glengoyne Distillery, just a short drive away. Take a guided tour of the distillery.
Right on our doorstep is access to the short climb of Duncryne Hill, better known locally as ‘The Dumpling’. The views are spectacular, across Loch Lomond and its islands towards Ben Lomond, Scotland’s most southerly munro.
Moored at nearby Balloch the Maid of the Loch was Loch Lomond’s last serving paddle steamer. During the summer season you can tour the boat and see the progress of its restoration project.

We have a beautiful and peaceful setting that is very close to many of Loch Lomond’s best walks and attractions. We are also within easy reach of the cities of Glasgow and Stirling. You will need a car to access our property. We are in the country and around a 15 minute walk from the local bus stop.
